2013 Escape?

Other than the stupid fender vent I like it. It looks better than most of the other cute-utes in the segment anyway.

Eh... I don't get it. The 2012 Escape actually looks like an off road vehicle... this thing looks like it's better suited for taking the kids to soccer practice.

Looks terrible. It reminds me of the Aztek.

I don't like the 2012 either. I actually think the old escape looked good.

I thought front looked bad, then I saw the rear. Wow, it's a nasty piece of ugly. But then so is the current escape and mazda tribute, both look like they are running on mid 90's design queues.

I also thought subaru when it saw its rear.

for some reason I thought I was looking at a new version of the pontiac vibe.

From a distance, it has the same lines as the Infinity/Lexus SUV, which was their whole point in restyling.

Really overpriced as well. $27k-$32k for something AWD and equipped half decent. That's Outback territory, or even a bit higher.

Hopefully, the CX-5 is priced better.

The new Fords I've been in have had nicer interiors than the new Subarus I've been in, looking at the typical compact SUV/CUV owner I don't think AWD is a top priority, styling and features are probably a bigger selling point than Subaru's AWD technology. All things considered I'd consider an Escape and an Outback competitive with each other, a previous Subaru owner would probably be drawn to the Outback for no reason other than brand loyalty, a previous Ford owner is probably drawn to the Escape for the same reason.

I have concerns and would not fully trust a non-Subaru AWD system. Too many roller videos showing how almost no one else compares.

WTF? They made it look like just another generic crossover. The old one was nice looking because it still had traditional SUV lines and proportions, even though it was car based.

It's the new one Ford plan. We are getting the European Kuga relabeled as an Escape.

It looks great, very European. Probably drives great too, and Ecotec Turbo should be good balance of power end economy.
