Well doubt the guy would tell me he got too crazy on the throttle (probably doesn't take much, iirc the original RT/10s put out over 400ft-lbs at like 1700rpm) and swung the back end out too far and lost control if he really just tapped the brakes mid corner and lost control. He caught it right by the right rear tail-light, just about the entire back end had to be replaced - Sports cars like that aren't ment to take hits.

I thought I read somewhere that dodge is discontinuing viper production?

yeah gen 4 viper production ended july 1st this year.
