Now with Peyton Manning iffy for the upcoming season, I'll have to retract my Texans missing the playoffs again prediction. Now the division is theirs for the taking.

Its no worse, and their former rookie phenom center (pro bowl caliber) has a year of experience under his belt, plus Ben is arguably in the best shape of his life and has a WR corps that is also arguably tops in the league for any 4+ WR sets and Ben has been getting the ball out much faster because he has so many potent weapons to throw to (heck, their TE situation is also tops in the league)

If the Steelers fall short of a repeat Superbowl experience I don't see it being because of anything from their current starting offense, it would be more likely due to their defensive secondary (which largely hinges around Polamalu's health) or special teams (although kickoffs and kick off coverage have actually been a weakness, and with the new rule it only favors them)
 
Greenbay isn't going to the playoffs , Vikes will take rodgers out for the season hopefully career.

LOL. Yea, OK.

Vikings will finish bottom five guarenteed, and Matt Flynn is one of the best, if not the best backup in the game today. Flynn could easily still win games with that team and those weapons around him, even if your ridiculous theory about Rodgers going down became true.

And the fact that you would hope for a career ending injury shows how much of a douche bag you are. I, personally, would only hope that against Tom Brady 😉

I told a friend yesterday that if the Texans DON'T beat the Colts Sunday, Kubiak should be fired on the spot.

Ha, probably so. But Collins is a veteran QB, smart to bring him in. Peyton's regular backups (Curtis Painter?) have never played well. Still without Peyton to run the offense I don't see how they win.

The NFC North looks strong this year, the two teams that played in last years NFC Championship and eventual Super Bowl winner are in that division, as well as a much stronger looking Detroit team. I'm not really sure what to make of the Vikings yet, I don't know if this is a 6-10 team or a 10-6 team.

But I like GB's chances of getting back to the Super Bowl.

On the AFC side of things, it's hard to argue with the Pats or Steelers. I don't think there will be too many surprises here, it'll likely be one of the usual powerhouses that makes it to the Super Bowl.

One thing I predict in the AFC is the Colts will not be great, I think this is a team in decline. I could still see them being a playoff team, but I'm not sure I can see them doing much once they make it there. Of course, no one has even played a single game yet, so who knows.

Ya the vikes actually had a great draft . but the old qb won't get replaced until its to late . Web should start . working ponder in and than the wildcat . I would like to see SD knock the old QB out for the season . Than maybe well have a good team this year . But I agree I think Detroit is a power house . Greem bay shouldn't even made play offs last year . Thet were given 3 games by officials . I can understand how a offical can miss a call . But when they see something that didn't happen I begin thinking gambling mob is in the game.

in what world does winning a game with a stop at like the 1 on the last play of the game = 'no one else is worthy'

I can see the bears, pack, saints all making it to the end. maybe the eagles, but I dont trust them to be that good long enough. I think they will struggle

I want want want to pick BUFF from the AFC 🙂 but I'll take the ravens as a more realistic pick, if they dont stall out and flounder come wekk 15
