Sorry this is really confusing. Get the Season Pass plus which ones? If I remove everything that says DLC in the title, except the Season Pass, that only knocks it down to about $20.

If you add all DLC to your cart, remove the following:

• The Trouble with Clones DLC
• Gangstas in Space
• Genkibowl VII
• Nyte Blayde Pack

EDIT:

To make sure I'm clear, this is only if you already own the game. The Franchise Pack is still the cheapest way to get the game and all DLC.

Quick question with steam downloading/installing games.

Usually I run around 1.9 Mb/s d/l speed.

But friday and today it seems that the d/l speed is bouncing around between 700 kb/s and 0 kb/s and all numbers inbetween.

Why is that happening?

Im having the exact same issue, trying to dl something and Im going between 0-400kb with all of them. Has to be server issues

Steam DL servers always get raped during this big sales since everyone is trying to DL stuff they bought. You can try switching your location to see if it helps.

a) If you have nothing: buy the franchise pack, it includes base game + all DLC

b) If you have only the base game: get the season pass and shark attack DLC.

Aikouka says this because those are all included in the season pass DLC pack, so no need to buy them twice.

Skyrim WILL be cheaper, just not very soon. No reason to spend money on it now. At $30 it is still too damn expensive. And they dont even bundle in the new DLC that came out recently. I waited till Oblivion was down to around $10 for the core game and all DLC that ever came out, and I will wait till the same happens with this. By my calculation it will be there by next summer, possibly a lot sooner than anyone here might think. I may be able to get it + DLC this coming X-Mas for around $20.


I only buy stuff on Steam where they bundle a shitload of stuff at ridiculous prices or when they properly discount games down to $5-25. For example, Batman: Arkaham City was like $30-40 only a short while ago... Today I snatched ALL batman games in the series + ALL DLC (and there is a lot of frigging dlc) + Gotham City Imposters + Arkaham Asylum... FOR TWENTY FOUR BUCKS. (never-mind the fact that I already had Arkaham Asylum GOTY)

I also got Street Fighter Arcade Edition and All costume packs all for around $15, Legend of Grimrock for $6, Boshock 2 for $5 (they've been trying too long to pitch it to me at $10), Alan Wake+American Nightmare for $10 (heh.. I knew there was no point wasting $15 for that DLC when it came out) and now I am thinking to buy Arma II + Arrowhead for $24...

Modern Warfare 3 was too expensive at $30 since they didn't even bother to bundle any DLC so I will buy it for $20 + all DLC a year from now. After all, I didn't even really play MW2 yet!

Yes, summer 2013 Skyrim will be $15-20 and will include the low-rated vampire DLC. Not this summer and maybe not even for the xmas 2012 sale.

If you want to play it this summer or fall then $30 without DLC is probably the cheapest it's going to get.

That's pretty much what I'm doing too. Unless there's a game that I really want to play RIGHT NOW, there's no point in spending over $5 on it when it will eventually drop in price even more.
