You and me both... but these games are driving me to drink a tequila shot each night just to settle down so I can get some sleep. I may have to fly down to LA again this year if the Kings keep it up...

Great to see the Canucks swept in four. Truely heart-warming stuff :biggrin:
Islanders actually competing with the Pens. Fantastic.
Sens up 3-1 on the Canadiens. Woohoo! (though lots of work left)
Leafs lin trouble against Boston, excellent.
 
Man. What an OT in the Tornonto Boston game. Wrong team won, but a hell of a game nonetheless.

I said SHOULD be called that way. The reality is the games are called like the NHL gave some muppets zebra suits and a pair of skates, tossed some whistles at them and threw them on the ice. Guys are getting mugged so bad out there the DA is practically ready to press charges and the refs are fumbling their whistles in their pockets like they're trying to turn off their cell phones in a meeting. It's terrible.
 
Kinda hoping Ott finishes off MTL tonight...I think I have some underlying resentment for when they beat the kings in the finals.

Missed the game, pleased at the results. How'd they do? islanders, the last 3 games, seemed to have outplayed, out hussled pittsburgh. That with the way fluery played they were lucky to pull out win #2.

Pens didn't play perfect, but they did play a lot tighter. And they had some beautiful goals.

Vokoun played well - no flopping around a la MAF.

Started getting dirty at the end of the game.

Talk about non-factors. AND they have cap issues next season. That team is going to be in the dumps for awhile unless they are loaded in their minor system.
 
The Habs lost badly in game 5. Never were really a threat. Did a lot better than I thought this year, but their terrible April and playoffs showed that they still have a long way to go.

I'll be cheering for the Rangers this Sunday and the Sharks are now the team I hope wins it this year.

looks like Montreal just gave up. They used to be such a strong team back in the day.

Ottawa is the first EC Team to advance. I hope they are able to keep it up.

Now that the Hawks have moved on and I am looking at potential match-ups going forward, I am dreading the west coast games/travel. I don't want games starting late at night.

Det needs to win so it is easy travel and better tv times the next round.
StL needs to win so they can beat SJ the next round so it is once again easy travel and good tv times going into the finals where the Hawks can beat whatever shit team comes out of the east (hopefully the Islanders).

I'm hoping the kings and ducks win their series, but that's going to be a bad time around here if they play each other next round.
