So tempted by Skyrim....GotY generally comes with DLC and stuff right? Worth waiting for GotY edition?

If you're not itching to play it then sure wait. You'll save money and be the headaches of how buggy it is early on. Me, I can't wait any longer so I just bought it.

Really Steam? You're going to try to make me spend $40 on Christmas eve? And here I was about to pay a fair bit more than the average for the Humble Bundle. Why does Steam hate charity?

Maybe I will pass on Skyrim for now. My backlog haunts my dreams.

Psychonauts is really good, BTW, glad I bought it.

Anyone know if the Humble Bundle games can be activated through Steam?

Maybe Hard Reset, looks fun and want to support that dev.

Yeah for a low price I can be persuaded to put up with the issues until some patches and DLC come out.

I didn't get this last one, but Humble Bundles have always been steam-able

I almost bought Hard Reset on day 1 when it was 50% off.

Glad I waited.

Thoughts on Jamestown for $2.49 ?

Wings of Prey

Good? I haven't played a WWII fighter sim since MS Combat Flight simulater (1 and 2).

I recall from last year's sale that there is some really bad DRM with it right?

I was waiting on Skyrim since it came out, held back because of exams. No excuse to buy it now! Also, got Hard reset.

I got Jamestown through a humble bundle. It was fun to do for the achievement, not going back lol. It's like an arcade spaceship shooter.

And I got a 50% off Golden Valve coupon which can be used with sales but I have every good Valve game as far as I can tell.

So far I've got coal, Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey, Portal 2 and Jamestown 50% off.

Not too bad I guess! Was hoping to just win Skyrim instead of paying for it. 😛

How are the Splinter Cell series on PC, and separately from that the Rainbow series, and separately from that, Ghost Recon? And End Game, and HAWX, is that on rails?

I have never played Splinter Cell, I liked the original Ghost Recon but GRAW wasn't that good for me, and I've never played Rainbow series.

Nice Skyrim deal. I'm about 120 hours in now and still at least 30 hours from finishing it "all" - compare this to Oblivion where I "only" put in 80-ish by the time I felt I was done.

Nothing really interesting me. Hope they have some sort of deal on CoD: MW3. Not sure I'd pay $40 since all I want is the SP though...

Hard Reset shows that it's still possible to make a visually awesome (no browns!) and fun to play FPS without needing the AAA budget that larger developers seem to use as a crutch for higher price tags.
