Dungeons of Dredmor is a great game...$1.24?? what a steal! It has my stamp of approval. I've been playing it off and on for months now.

I do like how they keep up yesterdays deals for a few more hours. I'm still tempted by the Pendulo Adventure Pack hmmmmmmm

Any insight on Theater of War and Chantelise?

I'll probably get Lego Batman and Duke.

For anyone wondering, Costume Quest is a pretty decent Halloween themed RPG. Awesome present for kids, though entertaining for adults as well. I don't know about the length because I only played for about 2 hours, but the level of polish was pretty high for a small budget game. Well worth the $3.74.

What are everyones thoughts on Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale? I plan on grabbing Dungeons of Dredmor as well.

Recettear is a good game. Try the demo on Steam to see how you feel. If you like JRPG style games than the chances are good you will like it.

Barfo - thanks for the notes on Costume Quest. My kids should like that. I'm also wondering about the Theater of War series.

My son has costume quest on XBLA on his 360 and it is pretty fun. I would buy it for his steam account if he hadn't already played it a million times on his 360.

Yay, I finally got my coal from yesterday.

Also, it seems like they upgraded or have gotten more content servers. While the website has been super slow, I was able to download Spiral Knights at 4.2MB/sec!

I haven't played the Theater of War series. But last year during the holiday sale someone here convinced me to get Company of Heroes. Same concept (WWII strategy). I very much enjoyed CoH and I expect it will be on sale again this year. You might want to take a look at CoH and wait.......

Good point - this is the year I finally pick up COH.

Is DNF really even worth $4.99 (and my time)?

I don't regret paying full price and have bought both DLC for it even. The Critics were harsh on this game for reasons far beyond the game itself and had more to do with Tantrums than anything, IMO.

Yes, it's worth $5.

Psychonauts is 75% off $2.50. Even though it's not showing on the front page.

I'm having second thoughts about Duke Nukem, I think I'll wait until it goes even cheaper, it's not like I was planning to play it anytime soon anyway.

Picked up Dungeons of Dredmor. Should be fun.

Also, the Christmas achievement for Red Orchestra 2 should be pretty damn easy. Comissar's House is a pretty tough map, particularly if you're playing allies, but all you need to do is capture one territory and you get the prize. Good game if you're interested in a realistic nitty-gritty WWII shooter.

The witcher and witcher 2 are on sale.

The witcher is $2.49, is there a reason why not to get it at that price?

the witcher 2 is $23.99. Think I might wait a little while for it to drop below the $20 mark. But then again, witcher 2 is getting some awesome reviews.

The Witcher 1 is my favorite RPG ever. Of course, that's just me; you'll find people who love it, and people who hate it. If you want a mature, adult-oriented RPG with a very deep, engaging storyline, interesting characters, and a complex morality system, then by all means, buy it.

And of course the Witcher 2 is also pretty damn awesome. Worth the $50 I payed for it on release.
