If Indy ends up with the worst record and the first pick of next year's draft, and they draft Andrew Luck, there are going to be some pissed off people. Over 10 years now that they've had one of the best quarterbacks in the league and they luck out and get the first pick.

Snicker, snicker, snicker

I've been saying 9-7, the second half of their season is brutal. Sloppy wet kisses all around if they go 10-6.

I'd say 12-4 looks more doable, 2 losses to GB, 1 loss at NO, and possibly a loss to Atlanta.

This is how I feel too, said pretty much the same thing in some other thread. Anyway, while I think the Seahawks are probably the worst team, they might not end up with the worst record due to being in the NFC West. Tarvaris Jackson brings back the nightmares from the Dan McGwire and Rick Mirer era where the Seahawks were historically bad, I think they averaged 12 points a game one year.

While there is no guarantee Luck will turn out to be a franchise level QB, he probably has the highest chance of turning into one since Manning was drafted.

I also think as a team the Colts want to prove there is more to them than just Manning. Guess I see more hunger there than I do in Seattle to go all out for a win.

Fixed. Let's Go Buffalo! I don't know how long this ride is going to last, but I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

honestly, I think Luck will be good, maybe even great, but still no Peyton Manning. I'm not sure there's any QB that could play on that team and make them a winning team. They were barely good last season. If they don't start drafting better and look into hiring a real coach, Luck won't be taking that team anywhere.

What better way than to be Manning's understudy for a few years like Aaron Rodgers was under Farve? Luck to the Colts would be optimal for his career.

Every single cardinals home game has been sold out since 2006...

As a fan of a team whose sold out every game since the 1970's, color me impressed with that 5 years.

the last dbacks game I went to had an attendance of 30K. Not bad, but not good. I do agree that the dbacks have a pretty weak following here in AZ.

I see lots of them on TV and the stands are always bare to the bone. There is a well known sportcaster here in Colorado who has a morning show and he is the biggest DBacks fan, and is constantly talking about it. Two of the teams with the worst numbers over the years are Arizona and Florida. Which I just find ridiculously ironic since those are the two places old people go to die, and old people care more about baseball since its a declining sport just like them. Those two places should be sellouts every night.

I couldnt give two fucks about the coyotes. AZ is not the place to have a hockey team.

Of course you couldn't or anybody else in that town, so why is it still there? The NHL is retarded for allowing it to happen, and are to blame as well. But this last year your city voted on it to stay when Winnipeg had the money out trying to give it to you. Why?

And don't give me the hot weather bullshit, Nashville and Carolina are thriving and hockey can reside any where, it doesn't have to be only where kids can skate outside. Rinks are found everywhere in the country now.

I can assure you that a very large part of the country thinks Phoenix is in the top 5 worst sports towns as far as appreciating their sports. I'm just letting you know as an outsider looking in that this is the way the sports media feels, and from my perspective its spot on. I didn't mean to take this off topic, I'm just saying.

The cards might have given up more than they should have for Kolb. On the other hand, a good QB is WAY more important to a team than a good CB. IMO, its ok to overpay for a QB because they can bring so much to the table.

Back to the subject:
I think the cards and Rams will fight for the NFC west division. Seahawks are terrible and so are the 49ers.

Cards are doing better than I expected in the weakest division in Football, but still expect them to be bottom feeders along with the Hawks. Rams are worse than I expected, but I'm not sure why thats surprising since Josh McDaniels is clearly retarded.

My team is doing worse than expected by a lot. We just went through the easiest part of our schedule with 1 win. Suck for Luck campaign is in full affect with Green Bay on the horizon this week, wooooo.
