2011 NFL Worst Record Predictions

Not that this is an exact science or anything, but the Madden 12 team ratings have the Bungles as the worst team (71 overall) and Panthers as second worst (72 overall). The sad part is that the Bungles still have Ochocinco and Palmer on their roster in Madden 12, too -- it will probably drop them a point or two to lose those two. 😱

Cincy is the worst team I've seen so far. They were doomed anyway but now without Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson... Worst team.

The NFC is going to be a tossup between the Niners and Panthers. Actually it's not a tossup... The Panthers play in what might be the best division in Football. Having to play six games against the Falcons, Saints and Bucs... Ouch. The Niners have a shot to win at least one division game.

The good news for the Niners if they have the second worst record is the Panthers have used their last two #1 pics to get a QB so they might be willing to make a trade with the Niners and let Harbaugh have his QB back.

Or they could just...let them take Luck at #2? :hmm: Swapping picks when it's obvious they wouldn't take a QB makes little sense.

If the Panthers have the #1 pick, they will take Luck

With the first pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select...

Andrew Luck from Stanford University

When I heard about Ocho and Palmer, I swore I would disown the Bengals this year.
After watching AJ Green and Dalton play, I might have to watch a few games. 🙂

I think AJ will be a superstar, as long as Dalton can get the passes off.

yeah, for a QB...

......

Arizona got raped so hard on that trade.

Kolb looks mediocre at best this preseason, luckily he has Fitzgerald there to make him look good. Like that ridiculous catch he made that was so far off.

Bottom line, Arizona is going to be stuck in mediocrity for years now. Not that anyone in Arizona cares, since Phoenix is basically the worst sports city in the country. Hello fuckers, your team is first in the NL west, go fucking watch some games. Can't wait until that ungrateful city loses the Coyotes to a city that gives more then 1/2 a fuck.

This is tough, since the NFC is much worse than the AFC. There could easily be three NFC teams with worse records than the worst AFC team.

NFC: I really want to say the Panthers, but everyone is calling that. The 49'ers are really going to suck, too. Both of those teams will be worse than the worst AFC team. I'll take a new one and say the worst NFC team this year is the Redskins.

AFC: The Bengals will be bad, what with their QB situation and not having a WR and getting rid of Dhani Jones (bad karma). With Chris Johnson back in the fold the Titans won't contend for worst barring a season-ending injury. Denver could really suck. I'm going to with the Dolphins are the worst AFC team this year. They don't have a good QB, they don't have good RBs, their only receiver is Brandon Marshall who is a headcase and pouts, their DEF is bad, they just got worse in every aspect of the game this offseason.

I will also predict that JAX will set the record for lowest attendance in the modern era over the course of a full season.

AFC - Bungels will be lucky to win one game (1-15)

NFC - Panthers (3-13)

I haven't seen much of the 49ers this preseason, but I did catch some highlights the other day, and if they do play Alex Smith a significant amount there's no doubt in my mind that they're going for Luck.

That said - Carolina's my pick.

Bengals and Seahawks. Vikings may give the Hawks a run for their money in the NFC.

Edit: The Bengals are probably the worst team of the three, but the other two desperately need a franchise QB (the Bengals think they have it in Dalton) and will be in a race to win the Luck sweepstakes.

probably the bengals, who knows how many game suspension benson will get when he gets out of jail, if not them the titans

NFC: panthers, with the cards as a fall back

Every single cardinals home game has been sold out since 2006...the last dbacks game I went to had an attendance of 30K. Not bad, but not good. I do agree that the dbacks have a pretty weak following here in AZ. The phoenix suns generally sell out the majority of their games. Its been a little down last cuz they suck now. I couldnt give two fucks about the coyotes. AZ is not the place to have a hockey team.

The cards might have given up more than they should have for Kolb. On the other hand, a good QB is WAY more important to a team than a good CB. IMO, its ok to overpay for a QB because they can bring so much to the table.

Back to the subject:
I think the cards and Rams will fight for the NFC west division. Seahawks are terrible and so are the 49ers.

Worst teams in the NFL? Bengals and Bills.

I don't have any illusions that the Vikings will do extremely well this year, but they won't be the worst team by a long shot. They do still have Adrian Peterson, and as bad as McNabb is, he's better than Tarvaris Jackson. Might go 6-10 again.

If you look at Detroit, they should have a decent team. Stafford at QB, Calvin Johsons as a receiver, and Fairly and Suh on defense. However they can never seem to stay healthy and I'm pretty sure being in Detroit makes one suffer from depression which is probably affecting the team.

also the rookie WO that may just have a Dez Bryant-like showing.

I really like Detroit this year. :\

Any chance my Vikings get the #1 pick? My guess is that they'll at least win a few games seeing how they score a lot in the first half and just fall apart in the 2nd. If they had #1 pick, would they still pick Luck seeing how they just drafted Ponder? I think you'd have to.

They won't. The team is much better than the record shows. Sure they have collapsed in epic proportions in all three games so far, but I've watched every single snap of every one of their games so far and they are not even close to being the worst team in the league.

KT

0-3 Teams
NFC: Minnesota, St. Louis
AFC: Miami, Indy, Kansas City

Not a single person picked Indy... yet it looks like they might end up in the bottom 5.
