Those who believe in global warming will pick and choose the data that supports their case; those who do not believe in global warming will do the same for their side. Each side will decry anecdotal evidence for the other, but use it for themselves. This gets nowhere.
New flash, the first half of this year was driven by El Nino. Much like 1998.
I never know whether to listen to the scientists or the nut cases.
So, by that reasoning, when El NinA periodically hits, we should experience all those record LOW temperatures, right? And those record lows all occurred . . . um . . . WHEN, exactly?
... and of course more tax money to the government for the democrats to waste will fix the problem, right?
LOL! Local climate is not an indicator of the current global cooling we're experiencing.
Time for a little panic drumming to push carbon and CO2 tax, fear mongering cultists.

Fig 3. From SPPI. For almost nine years, the trend in global temperatures has been falling. The IPCCs predicted equilibrium warming path (pink region) bears no relation to the global cooling that has been observed in the 21st century to date. Note the very sharp peak in global temperature in early 2010, caused by a strong El Niño Southern Oscillation. Source: SPPI global temperature index.
Great post: In response to my request for record LOW average monthly and yearly temperatures to counter-balance these record highs, you display a chart claiming that temperatures aren't INCREASING as fast as the IPCC predicted?
I hate these debates. I never know whether to listen to the scientists or the nut cases.
Just got back from a week in Los Angeles and it never broke 80 the entire time I was there. Also, it's 81 here right now. I can't remember the last time it was in the 80's in June in Central California.
Scary? Not in the slightest. What gets to me is the near constant posting from yourself and other like minded individuals about something that if it were true, we cannot turn around. If we've killed the planet, we've killed it. We could close every factory, park every car, cease heating our homes and quit exhaling here in the U.S. and the difference would be immeasurable. In the meantime, while we lived in the dark ages, volcanoes would still erupt and China would still be bringing coal fired power plants on line to just scratch the surface.Since the OP is focused on the NOAA report, perhaps you can explain to us all how NOAA is a troll organization.
Or is dealing with fact-based empirical data just too scary for you?

When one constantly obsesses about something that is out of their control, I always heartily suggest intervention by professionals. Willingly seeking help is always preferable to being hauled off against one's will.
Oh, I almost forgot. There is other empirical data that contradicts your empirical data. But by all means continue posting once a week or so to try and soothe your angst. If you haven't figured it out yet, it's high time someone told you, it's not working. You're still worked up. Maybe it's time to try something else. See the paragraph above.
Possibly........Anyone posting in this forum regularly should be hauled off to the looney bin.
lies.
The winter in florida has been the coldest i have ever experienced here.(im only 17, fwiw)
every day for 2 months was highs of high 50s and lows of high 30s.

No, he displayed a chart showing that temperatures are decreasing rather than increasing as the IPCC predicted.
Simply put, he pwned you.
