You guys both the owned, I bought a huge Dodge RAM for $15k. That's like bigger than both your cars combined boyeeeeeee!
Now you need to tell the world just how big you are by putting chrome balls on the trailer hitch.

7th gen with LED tails is the best looking accord ever made, followed by the 6th gen
This is not 1995 anymore. A civic ex is going to cost around 20k out the door. An accord ex 4banger is going to be 25k out the door. A leather v6 accord ex w/nav will easily run 30k out the door.
I agree with this.Don't think it matters what year it is. It's called the Honda rape, where people think Hondas are actually anything other than over-rated underperforming cars they are. I've driven thousands of miles in Civics and CR-Vs in Zipcars, and they suck ass.
You can get a Malibu or Fusion for similar price and those will RAPE a Civic in handling, power, amenities.... everything.
Why get a new BMW 3-series when you can buy a used 7-series? Why buy a Cadillac CTS when you can get a DeVille?Like someone said earlier, why spend 20k for a new civic when you can get a better used car for less. You can get a decent used accord for 16k.

Wow, just went through buyingadvice.com and overstock.com which requested quotes from all the regional dealers. Some of the quotes are as low as $16.9k for the EX, they're probably going to bait and switch saying the price was for manual not auto, etc. but looks like i might even be able to do $19 out the door.
But what if he really is a fool for it? I'm not saying that he is but just because somebody wants something doesn't mean they are not a fool for it. When the first BlackBerry came out in 2000 I spent $550 on one. I was making about $1600/month after-taxes. Foolish? Fvcks yeah. Thankfully I returned it before the 30 days were up. But heck I wanted it! And heck, it was very foolish. However, if that's not what he wants, then there's no point in treating him like he's a fool for paying $19k for a Civic

More spank and rape, eh? Sounds like daddy issues.Heh, "wanting" a Civic makes you an insta-fool in my opinion. Damned if a Hyundai Genesis doesn't spank and rape any Civic in every aspect.

That's crazy!!?? All the dealerships in my city put their actual dealer cost on a big sticker emblazoned across the windshield so nobody has to bargain with them, and they sell each car at a loss. They operate entirely on tips.Civics are over-priced. Was at a Honda dealership last weekend and saw a 25k NON-SI civic optioned all-out. 25K, for a Civic!!??
As crazy as that is somebody will actually buy it. Can you imagine $500/month for five years to drive that slow little thing? Damn.Civics are over-priced. Was at a Honda dealership last weekend and saw a 25k NON-SI civic optioned all-out. 25K, for a Civic!!??
Not ultra-rare, most dealerships are stealerships. Most use the same "how to fvck your customers out of money with these tricks" list. That Honda dealership must be one of those ultra-rare "stealerships" I keep hearing about.
Because speed is the #1 concern of car buyers today. As crazy as that is somebody will actually buy it. Can you imagine $500/month for five years to drive that slow little thing?

Now you're comparing a compact 4-cylinder $19k car to a mid-size 6-cylinder $30k car.
In Europe many people actually prefer compact cars to mid/full-size ones. But you must be smarter than every European put together.
Anyways, here's a link to get you started in the right direction: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_car
I don't think that's true.Because speed is the #1 concern of car buyers today.
