Lakers gonna lose at home, that's poetic justice right there. Rockets maybe even sweep them. If they lose at home tonight the wind will be out of their sails. And the Lakers play bad when they're down and out. There's little to no hope of them winning this series.

If Rockets sweep this, I suspect Kobe will hold a press conference talking about how his team is crap and he wants to be traded to a better team. He's such a little bitch when he loses.

Hey Houston fans - has Rafer Alston always been this much of a wuss? I just saw a sound bite of him on TV, he said he slapped House in the head because House give him an elbow to the stomach. Replays looked inconclusive, House might have jostled him a little jogging down court, but that kind of stuff happens on every play. You'd think Alston would be thicker-skinned, growing up and playing in NYC.

I think you're a little premature throwing the dirt on LA.

But if they do... I bet you're right on about Kobe. ;)

I've been throwing dirt on the Lakers since Kobe snitched on Shaq and started to show his true colors wanting to be traded. Knowing damn well they want him too much to trade him. He makes a huge fuss "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!" for what? If the upper management had any balls they would have cut him loose when he was crying about wanting to be traded to the Bulls. As great as he is, I can't imagine how shitty the rest of his team feels when they do poorly and he pretty much says they're all shitty players. Even if they win I'll still kick dirt on them. Title or not, Kobe's a bitch and no amount of rings will make me respect that cuntflap.

I think you're holding back, tell us how you really feel!

I wonder if Kobe's even considered trying to get Lamar Odom to focus more? That dude's got a ton of ability.

It would have been hilarious if he had been traded to Chicago a couple years ago.

Lamar is great, Fisher is great, without Kobe I still see them as contenders, maybe even Champs. Sure he's the best player on the team by far. But those games where he's ball hogging and scoring 50, 60, even 81 points. I can't help but wonder what the rest of the team could have done if they had the ball. I don't really look at his 81 point game in NY as an accomplishment. Lamar + Gasol + Fisher alone makes for a sweet squad. Kobe probably doesn't want to help Odem become a better player, because it will take the spot light off of him. Kobe is not a good team leader, Shaq was far better. And Shaq has a ring since leaving the Lakers, even if he never gets another, he managed to do it without Kobe. Kobe can't say the same though.

This game is getting out of control. Technicals and now a flagrant 2...........damn it's getting heated.

wow wtf. should not have him ejected. why can't a smaller guy defend against a big guy's incoming pick?

flagrant 1 would've been fine

but seriously the way lakers play they would not make the finals if this keeps up

That was well past defending.

Honestly, I would love to see all of what led up to that. If Scola had it coming, then I love what Fisher did there... and Derek has never seemed like the kind of player/person who would do that without provocation (at least from what I've seen).

It was way more than a "Dwight Howard"... Fisher looked back, saw Scola coming up, and basically launched his elbow and shoulder at Scola. Incredibly stupid foul by one of the savviest and most respected players in the league. He could very well be suspended for the next game.

This. Fisher launched himself at Scola. He led with his elbow.

Scola didn't have it coming, IMO. There wasn't anything particularly dirty going on, a minute ago there was a Scola/Odom/Walton tantrum, but that looked like it had been resolved.

There's almost never a good reason to do what Fisher did. Consider his position on the team - he's almost irreplaceable, as LA doesn't have much of a reserve point guard, at least long term. What if he's suspended?

dibble into the lane with no where to go, awesome offensive plan rockets.

but then we've seen this in practically every 4th quarter the rockets have played this year. don't bother executing the offense.
