Kobe is a great player, but there is nothing I like about him. He's a snitch, a ball hog, a cry baby and never seems to take responsibility when the Lakers lose. If they go down in flames against against the Rockets (and they will) I expect him to pull what he did the start of 2 seasons ago

On the bright side, there's little to no chance in hell the Lakers win the title, and Kobe didn't get MVP. So, not all is wrong in the world.
Now the Pistons are done. I would like to see the Magics win the East I doubt it tho LeBron might be too much for them to handle.
On the other side... I take a look at the Lakers starting line .. I am not betting against them.

That animated gif doesn't seem too shady to me. Looks like he could have easily had trouble getting up and slipped a little bit. I think it just looks worse than it actually is, but obviously the gif is cropped so you don't get the whole story of what's going on before and after.
as I recall, they were fighting for a board. kobe was wrapped up on top of battier, play stopped, and then animated gif ensued. pretty pissed when saw that cuz play stopped, so it's not like he was scrambling to get up and could've easily avoided kneeing battier in the face then elbowing him in the head. someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

first knee, pretty bad already. fine, could've been inadvertent.
then he knees him again, then the forearm. i highly doubt he slipped.
the only thing we don't know is if battier did anythign to provoke this.

The knee and subsequent elbow just don't look that vicious to me. Maybe it's the slow-mo, but I don't see much wrong going on there.
Kobe's a little bitch. The NBA and media try to give off the notion that he's a class guy, but nobody believed it except for delusional Laker fans.
I really hope the Rockets win this series, but knowing how atrocious the officiating is in the NBA, I'm sure they will do whatever they can do get a Lakers/Cavs finals.

Is LeBron the most liked MVP ever? It's just that nobody hates him and rightfully so. Nobody ever speaks bad about him.

because LeBron doesn't put himself in a position to be an ass. And for the most part he seems humble. BUT, I can tell you the city of Syracuse hates him because he recently had his sports management company convince SU PG Jonny Flynn to leave school early for the draft.

Even the LeBron James Show can't make a game against the Hawks interesting. I found an original Iron Chef I hadn't seen before (secret ingredient - mango) and was watching that instead.

wow, a lot of unwarranted hate here. You guys just love to sit there and hate on anyone, whereas athletes with set goals in mind work their ass off to reach their goals. They can't win in some people's eyes because people are just too dense and ignorant to even understand anything at all.

The only hate on here is that some people are saying Kobe is a dirty player. We watch sports and people who watch sports have the right to talk shit about any player they want.
