I knew Houston would win at least 2 at home but doubted they would win at LA. Good for them. Also glad Yao didn't get hurt worse.

heart sank when saw yao clutching his knee, but awesome team effort and well balanced execution!!

sigh.. That's it. No more championships for the Lakers for a long while now. Total collapse. I can't even imagine how Lakers can come back next year. I'm utterly sad right now.

/disowns thread 🙁

Oh, c'mon, it's just one game. Next game Kobe will be feeling better, so he'll be more aggressive, and maybe the "good" Lamar Odom will show up.

Look at it this way: Houston played the game as well as anyone thought they could (in LA), and the Lakers still had a chance to win.

The bigger reason why I'm depressed is that that was my final NBA game I get to watch on TV. Starting Wed morning, I'll be out at sea and overseas until July. This means no more NBA games except on rss feeds and maybe (if internet is fast enough), I can see live updates from you guys from all the games from this thread. 🙁

Allen misses that 3-pointer, and the TV announcer says, "Allen couldn't have shot that any better." Ummm, OK, did you not notice he missed it? My guess is that he could have shot it better.

If you looked the replay, that shot was dead-on. Sometimes it just rattles out, just like sometimes you shoot long and you get a good bounce.

So you're telling me he could have shot it better?? If it were dead-on, it would've went in and not touched the rim.

In any case, I'm going with Nugs vs Cavs.
You do not know how happy I would be if that happened, my 2 fav teams.. I was already ecstatic when they finished 1st and 2nd in their conferences.
