This. I like the S2000, although I'd probably choose the Miata over it for the simple reason of lower price. My next car will probably be a fun-to-drive roadster, but it's not an option right now since I have to drive my 7mo around 🙂. Once we have it setup for him to only ride in one car, I might see what inexpensive used Miatas are out there. For me fun-to-drive > 1/4-mile times. I think I would have more fun in a Miata than in something like a porky Challenger. The Challenger would be faster in a straight line (obviously), but I enjoy fast cornering more than fast acceleration. Fast cornering is less likely to yield a ticket as well 🙂.

Edit: And obviously there are vehicles out there with fast acceleration that are fun to drive and corner well, but those are quite a bit more expensive than the Miata.
