Davidson is on FIRE!

Also, about the louisville/UNC game tomorrow. The cards have exactly what it takes to beat them defensively. Padgett/Character won't let hansborough in the paint.

Yeah, Curry has been a monster. Wisconsin is catching a beatdown, but there is some time left...

I'm amazed at what a complete player Curry is. He obviously has the quick release and the long-range game, but his ball handling and passing are beautifully smooth. The point guard for Davidson, Richards, is also a stud (just not as flashy).

The Davidson team, as a whole, defends much better than I realized, as well.

so much for all the pac10 fan boys that said there would be 2 pac10 teams in the final 4.

Well my bracket was fubarred since the opening weekend, but I did pick Davidson to win 3 games so I feel better now.

IIRC, I was one who told you Davidson would never make the eight...

its really annoying that they don't sell beer at this thing.

the texas game was rocking. probably 75% horns fans. there was a patch of cardinal in the section right next to us, a pretty good swath of blue across the stadium from us, and a sprinkling of green here and there. after the stanford-texas game stanford fans started selling their tickets to sunday. i was surprised at how many people stuck around to watch the start of the memphis-msu game. i think a lot of people left as memphis started pulling away, we left when memphis went up by 18.

perhaps it was better live, but on tv our fans didn't come across as very enthusiastic at all. seemed like a pretty sad home court advantage when half the time all you could see was people in burnt orange sitting on their asses not making a sound.

on a side note, i still have 6 of my elite 8 teams in one of my brackets, hoorah!

You could hardly see the crowd on TV. I don't think it was a good representation of what was going on.

I'll make one note not so much about the games but how freaking annoying it was to get out of work last night. I work in downtown detroit and got off work at 11pm...what a freakin pain in the ass to get home...its like people forget how to drive when they are in a new town or when there are a bunch people around.

But I will say Davidson is much more well rounded then I thought and I think they've got a shot against Kansas on sunday.

Villanova should have just stayed home.

The announcer commented that KU looked like a pro team out there and was playing above the rim most of the time.

4 alley-oops in the first 9 mins.. They sure put on a show.

They dropped back 2nd half and conserved energy for Sunday but still won handily.

Hopefully they spank Davidson and send them back to the minor leagues on Sunday.

Oh shit, did you see that move Collison put on the guy chasing him? That's sick!

Those NCAA decals they stuck over the host teams' logos are going to get somebody hurt before the tournament is over. It seems like every game the players are slipping and sliding on them.

As I stated earlier the Cards should give Carolina a lot of trouble. Cards play similar to Clemson, but with more talent and speed.

C-A-R-D-S!!!
CARDS!

Vegas has NC a 5.5 favorite however.
