Shut up until there is a some real life data to compare. Manufacturer specs tell us next to nothing about how a car goes; On a track or otherwise. If you think it does you need to stop sniffing the ink on 'Fordz Rock so hard, LOL!' magazine.
So, yeah. Shut it.
I never said anything about Ford's, too bad you had to try and bring that up because you cannot debate.
Sorry you are ignorant of both cars potential...and I will bet money on it the Vette will flog the M3 around the track. Sorry.

Urgh, you tool. I only mentioned Ford due to your obsession with them, Ford Fanboi. To hallucinate this point is proof positive you cannot debate the point.
I'm not really ignorant to these cars potential. I've driven a ton of very fast cars including M3s of various generations and Corvettes. Not the LS3 and not the E92 M3; and here lies the rub. I have not stated the M3 will rip the LS3's ass off, but I'm not about to say the opposite either. I'm simply stating that to blindly state that the LS3 will own the E93 M3 'hard' is about as automotively ignorant as you can possibly get.
EDIT: You also suck hard at quoting.
Okay...just wait...and I will bump this thread.

still, yay for a cheap fast coupe that looks cool outside... sans the orange paint.
Exactly. The Corvette lacks any finesse. Some of the fanboys here fail to realise this fact.
When you buy a BMW you?re paying for luxury, not a shell with a big engine.

I would love to see this vs. the new BMW M3.
Why? It wouldn't even be close. :disgust:
lol the M3 would get owned so hard.
It might well but which driver will be having more fun?
What car will be easier to drive quickly? Which car is twitchier? Which car is better at being able to cope with under/oversteer? These are all things that don't go mentioned when people talk about lap times. And on a autocross course(which face it, is the closest most of us are going to get to a "track"), I'm sure the EVO X can beat both![]()
As far as I can remember, Corvettes are usually quite twitchy at their limits as are M3s but from magazines, I just get the feeling that those Corvette drivers are working much harder than the cars it gets compared to.
