Yes, let's argue some more over what car is better. Both cars have pros and cons and from that, attract different people. Please don't turn this into a Streetfire thread, I mean, were already 50% of the way there with someone saying they would rather take a Supra, now we just need someone saying a boosted Honda could smoke it.

Actual driving, not if they don't do something drastic like a complete resesign of the chassi.

Either way, the 'vette would be my choice as a daily driver over a Viper, but as a second car just for fun, the 'vette isn't even in my top 20 but the Viper is in my top two.

Umm no. The Vette even now still beats the Viper. it also beats the GT and F430.

Yes and we are trying to show how the new vette SS will stack up against future vipers, and someone said the viper owns the z06 now, which is not true.

If you are referring to Slackware, keep in mind that his post was his opinion. our telling him that his personal opinion is wrong.

Regardless, I think Vette's are to "popular".... give me the Viper based on that alone.

And if I had the money to waste on a car ... I'd probably go after a Lotus Ellise or whatever the new one is called. And having said that, I wouldn't want the Elise even.

BTW: Not many people who race at tracks would take a Vette or a Viper over an Elise.

Then you would go with an Exige anyway.
