2005 Lexus GS

Audi RS6 lines (sorta), Mazda 3-looking headlights.

But, I must admit, it looks better than the current GS (the rear end is too bulky and the tires don't fill the wheel wells that well.)

And who needs a stick with those F1-style paddle switches?

Now if it only came in stick.

Honestly, why would you want a stick in a car like that? If you want a sports car, get a sports car.

I have a big SUV right now. My other car is a 5 speed sedan which I will likely replace about the time new GS is out. I had the current GS and liked it alot but would not get it again if it wasn't in stick.

There aren't too many cars in the GS category with a stick other than a 5 series.

And there's a reason for that....people don't really care to have a stick in a car that size. You're in a SMALL minority.

Typical Lexus design. Rip off Audi's basic shape, strap on Acura's front treatment, add bimmer rims, throw in some Mazda6 headlights, and voila, another unoriginal Lexus car.
I guess they think if they rip off enough cars, noone will notice.

How's that?

The original GS was a Guigiaro design.

And Nissan doesn't rip off people either? (VW/Audi rooflines on the Altima and G35, 350Z vs. Audi TT, Maxima vs Saturn Ion, Sentra vs steaming pile of dog sh!t😛)

Which makes it even more strange that lately Lexus started copying other brands, with LS, GX, and now GS. They can design original looking cars, yet for some reason choose to rip off other designs.

Rooflines? You are really grasping for straws. Out of mainstream cars, Nissan has certainly some of the most original and innovative designs, aside maybe from Mazda.

Stupid Lexus just made an A6. Why can't they make one damn car that isn't a German rip-off? Not only did they blatantly copy the A6 they uglified it at the same time.

IS300: Jetta
GS: A6
LS: Old S-class
ES: uglified Camry
