while im for legalization, especially of marijuana, thats not suddenly going to stop all the people in all the cartels from shooting other people. i think it would reduce their income, but theyd still need to be dealt with. theyre used to money and power and mayhem, less money coming in isnt going to suddenly make them timid.

They would be killing each other over whatever reduced profits are left to be made.

However, that last video that was posted - also from CNN - is dated October 28th, 2010. Right at the beginning when the reporter is in the truck on his way to meet her he says she has a 7 month old son.
