Damn I want a flatscreen but I cannot get one until I can justify a 24" widescreen flat panel to replace the 24" widescreen CRT I have now.....I just can't go smaller after using this thing for a couple of years.

a 24" flat panel has 24" viewable. i'm pretty sure a 24" CRT has less viewable area.

A widescreen CRT? Unless it's a TV, that's wierd.
And yeah, LCDs are about 2"-3" bigger than a CRT marked as the same size.

OMG I just wet my pants! 30" wide is huge for a desktop tho.. i'd be happy to see the 24" get upgraded and then have it at $300![]()
