Healthier alternatives:
- bring some combination of salad, sandwich, fruit
- microwave a bowl of oatmeal or can of soup.

First they see the scar from my last two bowel surgeries. Then they notice that Im out of shape.

Finally they notice me staring but not caring.

For someone with 2 bowel surgeries one would think that you would be more selective in nutritional choices for lunch.

Who has time for that? In this work-a-day world we live in, time is everything, and so is cost. Ive only got so much time to feed my fat face and waddle back to my original location.

Im up to an unseemly 150lbs @ 5'8".

On Monday I made a massive pot of lentil soup that supplied me with a dinner and four lunches this week, plus another eight lunches worth of soup that I threw in the freezer. Beat THAT for both cost value and nutrition.

You are talking to a man who spent $45,000 on IV drugs, had two bowel surgeries that cost $120,000 and had a broken leg fixed for $20,000.

All that happened in the last 18 months. D:
Why would you do that Felix?

Or you can make more than minimum wage and not have to set such limits on your spending.

I use red lentils (honestly, I hate the brown ones) and cook them with lots of veggies and Thai curry paste. I also like to add rooster sauce to my bowl of soup, gives it lots of flavor and a nice spicy kick.

If you spend more than $2 for lunch you are doing it wrong. Forget these high prices at fast food places. I order a double cheeseburger and value fries at Micky Dees and only pay two bucks.

Whereas at Wendys that same order would be $8.

double stack and value fries at wendy's would be 2 bucks too.

I can't fathom why you'd continue eating McDonald's after multiple bowel surgeries... But I can't fathom why you'd eat McDonald's in the first place, so I guess I'm biased. I'm certainly not one to bad mouth fast food; I eat more than my fair share. But McDonald's is pretty low on the list. Burgerville is the shit up here in the Northwest; fresh made when you order. Costs twice as much as Mickey D's, but it's worth it for food that's palatable; their bacon cheeseburger is made with real bacon, not those weird generic "meat strips."

Still, if you've already had two surgeries to repair your devastated bunghole, perhaps eating burgers every day isn't the best plan.

Why would you put that garbage in your body day after day?

If you're just eating a mcdouble or whopper jr. and getting some decent stuff the rest of the day, it's not really all that bad. At one point in my life I was getting burger king almost everyday but still was able to lose weight.

Have fun eating the same thing over and over again.

You may as well skip lunch then for what you get out of that shit.
