How was the service today? ;)

i barely pay attention. coupled with a bad memory, i hardly remember what happened :p

Why bother going then?

to appease my parents till i head back to college (currently on co-op, living at home)

edit: i have nothing against catholicism really.. i just don't like church

You're an adult. Make your own decisions. Stop wasting everyone's time if you don't want to be there and aren't going to make something of it.

i found it funny that it was at church of all places where i found so many cars i like. i'm not judging anyone's choice by any means (hey i wouldn't mind having a vette, though personally i'd like an A8L + motorcycle)

@slowspyder: lol :D

@injury: i suspect i'd get a hassle from my parents, i simply don't feel like dealing with it.

Was she wearing inappropriate, revealing clothing?

And all churches are not the same, by a long way.

Except that folks have very different thoughts on what the Bible actually says... hence the 30,000+ different protestant denominations all claiming to understand the Bible better than 'the Church across the street'.

You have horrible taste in cars if a Chysler of any kind was your dream car, unless it is some sort of classic.

realistically, i won't be able to afford something like a bugatti veyron. a 42k sport sedan is a *little* more reasonable. the 300 SRT8 has just about everything - style, comfort, significant interior space, a large V8 engine, and a sport tuned suspension.

however, i've moved to a 2006 or 2007 A8L with the sport package. by the time i get out of college, should be in an appropriate price range :D right now 2004 A8L's go for 25-30k, so i'm expecting the 2006 and 2007 models to be similar around 2010, when i get out of college.

Depending on your state laws, it may not be illegal. In Washington, the limit is 5 years if the girl is 16-17...which means you could be 21-22 and it could still be legal.

What do you mean "except"? I guess this statement is supposed to give me pause in my drive to understand the Bible, rather than spending my time trying to understand what a bunch of different churches say about the Bible? Don't just try to bring me down- say something constructive. Tell me what you think I should be doing, if you're wise enough to tell me "except".

Hey, no need to know what you're talking about before you insult me and my church. Knee-jerk reactions are definitely the best way to show how clear your thinking is in comparison to mine.

I'm no sheep. You'd know that if you knew me. But you don't, so why are you calling me one, as if you knew what you were talking about?

I'm just flabbergasted by the poster that TAKES NOTES in church. You gotta be kidding. I wonder if he gets together with the other brainwashed teens afterwards and they compare notes to see who has a better understanding of today's service?

I've never been to church in my life except for weddings, but everytime I drive past a church during their service, people are walking to and from their cars like they're going to the Oscars, seriously. Makes me think that many people go to church just for the social aspect of it than for religous reasons.
