dunno, what i got was either a bbq chicken or the smaller burger, not the super whatever its called from carls

so the 6 dollar burger is only a hardeesthing? cuz the "famous star" listed on the card isn't the same as a super star at carls.

is hardee's the same as carl's or something? I tried entering the closest location to california(socal) but it wouldnt post anything. i think the script is broken

I got two emails from Hardees. The first was an automatic confirmation email saying that my comments were received. The second was a personalized email thanking me for my comments. Neither said anything about free coupons. Should I have said something negative in my comments?

Whomever said that Carls > Hardee's is wrong. To clarify, Hardees, started by the Carolina Panthers' owner (or at least he was the first franchisee) Jerry Richardson, was bought by CKE Foods a few years ago. I have eaten at both, and will take Hardee's over Carl's Jr everyday of the week - cheaper, cleaner, better food.

Hardees was bought out by Karls Jr, or Karl Karcher to be specific. When the stars first appeared at hardees and they changed the name go the star and famous star (now it's thidckburgers) I asked them about it and they said some of them were being flown out west to Karls Jr's for training. I ate at Karls Jr. in San diego befor moving where hardee's by the way and Karl's Jr. beats the Hardees here. I will admit Hardees is getting better, at one time you hardly saw anyone in their parking lots.

Used to be Hardees where I lived, but not anymore. I loved their milkshakes. 🙁

I can't remember what they taste like. The last time the machine worked when I actually ordered one was when I was a little kid. It sometimes worked when they would flub my order though... If I ever, and I mean EVER ordered a Milk Chug or Chocolate Milk Chug I would get a milk shake until I corrected it or be told that the shake machine was broken. NO MATTER WHAT. I went a week without eating solid food once so milk was something I got a few times a day for that period. No matter how eloquent I was they flubbed the order 8 days in a row. I even began specifying "Milk Chug, not milk shake" and ask for confirmation while ordering and they would still mess it up. "What size?" they would say right after I specified which of the two. Grrr. Milk shakes have sizes, Milk Chugs have fixed-sized bottles. I came to the conclusion that it was 100% impossible to order a Milk Chug through the drive-through without incident. I'm sure this is what led to them taking it off the menu. Way too many errors!

Now that everything is streamlined my only major complaint is how slow everything is but they redeem themselves with a sign saying that made to order food takes longer than fast food.

I'd just like this opportunity to testify about the Hardees Thick Burgers.

I had the opportunity to eat two Grilled Sourdough Thick Burgers (with grilled onions and bacon) and I'd have to say those were the BEST burgers I have EVER had from a "fast food" restaraunt. Unfortunately those burgers were bought at a Hardees on my way back from vacation, and there aren't any in my hometown.
🙁

Honestly, if you ever try one, you'll have a hard time justifying the purchase of a regular, non-Angus burger from any other place.

bah, I got robbed.

"I would like to invite you to give us one more chance, on us! I am
mailing you some Second Chance coupons good for either a free Famous Star
Hamburger or a BBQ Chicken Sandwich."

no $6 burger 🙁

Ok trying for the third time to reply-- I got nothing after 2 weeks-- and I'm in their hometown of STL... go figure. I even told em the burgers were THAT good-- just wanted to have a closer location, even tho 2 nearby are now closed.... But I STILL drive it to eat the Thick burgers! And truth is they ARE much better than the crap other fast food burgers. 🙂

Same here. I tried on 8/17. What's the deal?

I actually got a letter from the home office, which I just left in my car, assuming coupons were inside. So the day I pulled into Hardee's I opened the letter only to find a form letter thanking me for my comments but no coupons. *sigh* Oh well, worth a shot and their burgers are the best I've eaten from a fast food place.

I just used mine yesterday and today. Chicken yesterday, 6 dollar burger today. Good stuff. Dang I'm full from that burger.

BTW, one of mine had a expiration date of the end of this month, so if you haven't used your coupons, use them.
