Whomever said that Carls > Hardee's is wrong. To clarify, Hardees, started by the Carolina Panthers' owner (or at least he was the first franchisee) Jerry Richardson, was bought by CKE Foods a few years ago. I have eaten at both, and will take Hardee's over Carl's Jr everyday of the week - cheaper, cleaner, better food.

for some reason Hardee's chicken sandwiches are much cheaper than Carls and much tastier (I guess the prices vary with region). I remember eating at Hardee's as I drove cross country and their chicken sandwiches were the best that I took some for the road.

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's are the same. CKE Foods stands for Carl Karcher Enterprises who was the founder of Carl's Jr. Both are run as seperate companies under CKE Restaurants Inc. but with pretty much the same menu allowing for variationsa due to specials, test items, and regional variations.
