2 annoying things about 2 fast 2 furious

As if anybody cares, or hadn't noticed, but this is two annoying things about 2f2f.

1) After somebody hsa their super cars on full throttle for god knows how long, they go down to the speedometer, and the car is going like 110 mpg. Sad. My old sentra could hit 110 that fast.

2) On a straight away - and this happens a bunch of times - somebody is presumably accelerating as fast as they can, but then for some reason (like somebody else is catching up), they downshift, and accelerate faster. Why weren't they in that better gear in the first place?

BONUS ANNOYING THING: Mitusbishi spyders are really fruity cars, why did they have that purple one in the movie?

eclipse spyder GTS

2002 RSX-S

as you can see, despite the larger size and its not as spectacular look, the eclipse GTS SYPDER with a folding roof is faster than a smaller 2002 RSX-S (i didn't bother to find the 2005's specs), with the big chunky eclipse being 0.3sec faster in the 0-60.

one annoying thing with the movie is all that computer-generated crap, with the flame and NOS being the main focus of the movie.

one annoying thing about people mis-understaning the movie: they keep thinking that the EVO in the movie is an 8... it's actually the better-looking 7!!!

Well an RSX is hardly a sports car, but the mitsu is still a favourite car of girls and poseur boys! Plus, unlike the acura, its engine will probably die by 10k anyway

I think in regards to people misunderstanding, this movie pretty much thrives on it. There are plenty of cheesy eye-rolling moments, but it's still not bad

well one trend i've observed lately is that ALL RSX, eclipse, tC, celica, maxima, murano/FX35 are becoming more and more chick cars, esp the celica...

but yeah like i said the eclipse is pretty fast for a FF car. FR's are rare in the states but i was hoping that they'd put more import-only cars in that movie , and at least make it look like some real driving skills is involved in that movie...

but yeah the movie would be better if there are no bodykits on the cars (and no stupid stickers), no flames, and nobody acting like they are all gangsta.

with that said, i like the first one more, with a slightly less stupid plot =)

That was pretty underhanded of you Actually all the other cars you mentioned are kinda girly. Unfortunately a lot of cars have the girly aura about them these days.

I heard a rumour, though it may be only that, that diesel will be in the third fast furious. I hope so, since I have a man crush on him. I did like the tip off to the muscle cars in both of the FF movies, although I was saddened when the guys in 2f2f lost theirs, because in reality they would have totalled the two imports in that drag situation, plus you know those guys liked their cars.

Same reason that movie guns almost never run out of bullets unless it benefits the action sequence making it grim for the character in question. hmm that 9mm had like 40 shots in one clip! now that is an assualt weapon!
