Same reason that movie guns almost never run out of bullets unless it benefits the action sequence making it grim for the character in question. hmm that 9mm had like 40 shots in one clip! now that is an assualt weapon!
I remember when I was in high school and we were watching Sleeping with the Enemy and I made the comment "wtf, that gun should at least have 3 or 4 more shots in it." My teacher didn't see the humor in it
Anyways, as far as 2 Fast 2 Furious goes, that movie was just bad. From the name to the movie itself, it just sucked. It is lame, like someone already mentioned, how they would floor it, yet in the end would only do about 110mph, yet they were beating a 7 series BMW.(These are electronically limited to what? 155?)
