You still do not seem to understand the basic functions of government. I'm pretty sure the former Secretary of State understands it a lot more than you do, but keep on blundering on.

There is no requirement for even a POTUS to hold press conferences, it has always been at their option to begin with. Some have only done State of the Union Address pretty much only in the past.

Most of the time it is handled by staffers on a daily basis.

And even when you receive a viable answer you ignore it and and ask the same question repeatedly.

There is no compliance involved.
Silly me. I thought elected representatives and those running for office are accountable to the people.

If they were literally, I'd imagine Cheney and a few people would have been in prison long ago.

Hillary is under no obligation to do press conferences.

As has been stated by others, with the mud slinging these days, it is just not a priority to do so. I'm looking forward to the debates myself.

If that makes her look bad in your mind, so be it.

Rant away.

As well they should. I never said she is obligated to. I think it speaks volumes about her character that she chooses not to

It appears you implied she was obligated to, as you mentioned she was not complying before.

Not complying to something would infer not following up on something you were obligated to do to begin with.

My bad. I sometimes lose my bearing of which thread I am in with the new hyperspace into battle feature. My assertion of compliance was in reference to her emails.

How did you get to there from here, anyway?-

Why should the American people entrust you with being the leader of the free world when you demonstrated an inabilty to comply with or understand one of the most basic and administrative functions of government

Those statements stand in contradiction to each other.

Two different trains of thoughts. Press conferences are not obligatory but she is clearly avoiding them. Handling of classified information and government email was what I was referring to as a basic government function.

Lots of things are worn out, but P&N would be a quiet place if the same people didn't keep reiterating the same tired arguments, myself included.

Right now, pivot and optics seem to be my go to buzzwords. This thread has me pretty close to filling my Benghazi bingo card. Can someone please post something about Trump and Putin so I can get Bingo?

Why do you worry about buzzwords to begin with ?

I love it when delusional conservatives post their delusions for all of the world to see.

Please proceed, delusional conservative.
The good thing is that they will get a reality check in about two months. 2012 was pretty delicious and Karl Rove's disbelief on Fox News is still amazing four years later. It's not a sure thing for Hillary, but I'd much rather be her than Trump right now. If Hillary keeps this lead, November 8th will be like my team winning the World Series. I don't even really care much about what she does except for locking up a liberal Supreme Court.

CNN, dailycaller, reuters, breitbart,,,, all put donald in the lead.

Why would anyone be surprised? Hillary has not fielded questions from the press in 9 months.

During the recent flooding hillary disappeared.

1. No thread-crapping, thread-derailment, off-topic posting, trolling, the intentional posting of logical fallacies or misinformation. See post # 23 for your reality check.

You're not calling out mods for maintaining forum rules are you? P&N is pretty freewheeling, bet I guess it sucks that it is such a burden you can't just make up your own facts.

While donald is visiting a black church, visiting mexico, visiting flood victims, shillary is charging for children to ask her a question.

Could she sink any lower?

Did you see the crowd of church members protesting Donald outside of that black church?

Of course you didn't. You only saw Donald dangling that little black baby in front of the camera like it was his newest trophy.

lol--you probably still think he's leading in the polls.

I am confused. Do we want Republican candidates to engage the African American community or not? Granted, Trump's visit was about as genuine as a luxury handbag from a street vendor in NYC. Given the number of protestors, you have to respect Trump for going into hostile territory even if his speech failed to meaningfully start a dialogue.

Too little too late, but perhaps better than nothing at all.

I agree with you, but that is not how TH is portraying this photo op.
