Bush's new catchphrase: "Social security can be fixed, but it's going to require some sacrifice."

Translation: "By the time we're through tinkering with this entitlement, we'll wish we had left the damn thing alone."

Last post from me on this thread .... hopefully ...

Since you ran out of facts and substance a couple of years ago, all your left with is personal attacks which seem really amateurish, to be honest. As long as you keep posting false, moronic and trolling comments, I will respond to them.

Its spam in the sense that there has already been a "Official Bush Bashing Thread" already sticked for your convenience, why create another one?

I don't really mind, it just further shows you the mentality of the left in America these days. No wonder you guys are all out of power. Go ahead with your catchphrases and whatnot

Thats a great idea, im gonna grab a beer and watch it! Raildog, it was a joke. We'd be doing to regardless of who was in office. Im surprised that there was nothing for iraq or for something like unity. Prehaps a Chug if he mispronounces something aswell

I think the idea is funny as hell, and with that list, you'll get quite drunk, methinks.

BTW- it's nook-er-ler and pour me another one. There is a nation with more nook-er-ler weapons and biological weapons than all the others on the face of this earth combined- the United States of America!

Yes, the President should give a SotU speech without mentioning "freedom" and "democracy"

It's the repitition and the reliance on them instead of real ideas. But nice strawman! Don't feel bad about it.

It's not like they are the single most important words when it comes to describing this country or anything...

Anyone have a similar count from any other SotU speech from any other President?

EDIT: Reagan SotU 1988 - Mentioned freedom 21 times and democracy 7 times.

What's the point of stating the obvious? And lots of other countries have democracy and freedom so I don't know why he needs to go on and on and on and on about it. Just silly theatrics.

And P&N wasn't around for the other SotU addresses. Maybe you can get a tape of it and count'em.
