I don't believe diamond is going to make AGP card. If I recall correctly last time they did that and they changed their mind at last minutes..I can't remember which card they cancelled.

Right now at Diamond the following is going on:


Boss: We need to do something to distinguish ourselves from the competition. I mean we need to find a niche market to help raise this quarters profits. But where?

Peons: No idea boss.

Boss: Ok next order of business IT

IT guy: we need to get somemore bandwidth because the web guys accidently posted about another false AGP card and about a billion people hit the site.

Boss: Those guys better shape up we can't afford more bandwith unless we sell somemore cards. But who could we sell too..........

Diamond did actually release an AGP X1600XT 512 which is currently the fastest X1000 AGP card.

Of course it was $300........

Snakexor are you sure it wasn't a regular PCIe X1950Pro?
