Do you dislike your overall text performance (runny 'il's etc.)? The problem is the analog cable and digital noise.
For a quick fix just hit the 'auto configure' button...I know most of you know its there but it took me awhile to figure
it out since I dont read manuals.
Its the button to the left of the power switch.
This will automatically adjust your phase and tracking and eliminate the digital noise but if you want a precision
adjustment you will have to do it manually or follow my instructions as follows.
1. Download the Nokia monitor test HERE
2. Run N-test and when you get the starting screen left click on the resolution test, you immediately see the highest
res horizonal test screen, now right click once, you now see the highest res vertical screen and now you also see
the horid digital noise. Now hit your "auto adjust" button again.
Voila , your monitor kicks arse.
(now go and set your cleartype to BRG and pick whatever style you like, 96dpi should look beautiful. )
