A week before, I bought a 1660 TI for $319. A little more than I wanted to pay. But I wasnt sure I would get a 1660 super with the huge shortage on 1660 supers so I just got it. I ended up getting a 1660 super a few days ago. I suppose I could resell the 1660 super on ebay to make some extra money to justify the 1660 TI purchase? What would you do? Is the TI worth all the hassle? Or should I go with the super?

these are the 2 video cards I am comparing:

seems like:
core speed: 1830 (boost core - super) vs 1875 (Ti)
cuda processors: 1408 (super) vs 1536 (Ti)

If you need a card, you need a card!

How much did you pick up the 1660S for? Frankly, if you already have the 1660Ti unboxed and plugged in, just run with it and resell the 1660S.

The Ti is slightly faster than the S, and you're not going to be able to resell the Ti for more than you will the brand new S (Although in today's pants on head stupid used market, who knows).

Both cards perform around where my 980Ti does, and will do *OK* in newer games at 1080p with some reduced settings, while anything older will play quite well.

There are a few games the 1660 Ti is quite a bit faster, though from benchmarks it seems most of the time the 1660 Super's higher memory bandwidth brings it nearly even.

I was checking my online reciepts, and I paid $310 for my GTX 1660 ti Gaming X, like two years ago. I think that was a decent deal, given the current state of the GPU market. If the 1660 Super is BNIB, I would try to flip it for $400.

Flip it for FOUR HUNDRED??? What the stank is going on with that? Seriously? I bought my kids 1660 supers for something like $275 if I remember correctly. They are great little cards for their 1080p gaming, but $400 is madness. Between the super and the Ti, I would save the money and keep the Super because they are practically identical to the naked eye, but if one is already opened, then like as has been said, sell the new in box card for max profit.

Also, 3060 Ti's are sold out and going for $850 on Amazon from 3rd party sellers, so yeah, that's not an option lawl.

FWIW, I paid $239 for my 1660 Super in August. It's a solid card and I play FS2000 on high/ultra settings 1080p without issues.

Considering sales tax, I would try to sell it to someone for around $250-300, but take what I could get.

Flip it for FOUR HUNDRED???
That's what they were predominantly going for, on Newegg (3rd-party sellers) and ebay. I consider that to be current market rate.

Edit: Yep, just checked again, cheapest 1660 Super @ Newegg (3rd-party seller) is around $400 with shipping.

Edit: GTX 1650 cards are going for $250+, and GTX 1650 Super are $350+.

Edit: Even Newegg is getting in on the gouging, they want $279.99 for the Zotac twin mini GTX 1660 (vanilla) card. Should be closer to $230 or even $200 a few months ago.

Considering that $299.99 is (I think) the MSRP for the GTX 1660 ti Gaming X model, I don't think that OP did too badly in the current environment picking one up for $310. That's why I would keep that one (it's an AWESOME card, I have one as well), and flip the GTX 1660 Super.

Man with those kind of prices I'm tempted to sell my 1660 Super once I finish RDR2 in a couple of days.
