Well, the flag part is irrelevant to me. I don't care if you put that card on a $100 bill and left it on my property it's my property, don't put your crap on it without asking me first. And don't come knocking on my door to ask me either, I'm busy and don't feel like getting my lazy-a55 up to come talk to you. Bottom line, just go away. If you want to advertise use the post office or tv or radio like you are supposed to.

Edit: And just because the easement is not completely mine, unless you are the government or utility company, don't put your crap there either. It's more mine than yours.

Since she is a real estate agent, yeah. Who the heck would accept the flag when its most likely spam to get you to buy another house. Many people would actually get annoyed by that. Course, if someone does go up to my house and knock on my door, hoping to give a business card on a flag, we'd never open the door lol.

I think I would take it from them, but not stick it anywhere since I have my own flag that flies on the house. If they have enough respect for me and my property to come up and ask, then I will respect them by taking it.

BTW, here it is the evening of July 6th and the little flags are dropping all around me, with the advert. on them still....... more garbage for the neighbors and myself to pick up, that we didn't create :

rather than litter in peoples yards without asking, why don't you put a sign in YOUR yard next to big pile of flags that says "Free flags. Please take one."

Although you don't see any harm in it, and the people who don't want it can remove it easily -- I basically feel you should keep your junk off other peoples property without their consent, wether you think it looks nice or not.

You keep your litter off my property, and I won't poop on your doorstep -- even though you could simply hose it off.

Does she leave flyers on people's windshields and doorknobs, too? Nobody wants people putting advertsiing all over thier property, whether it has a flag or not.

Yeah, messing with other people's property isn't cool regardless of the intent.

It would be different if this was a community where everyone knew each other and you knew nobody would mind.

You can come leave one at my house though, I won't mind ;)
