Anyone know of anything like this? I know there are alot of camera guru's here; can anyone explain this to me?

Did you use the camera flash? They're reflections off dust. If you dont' believe me, find a dusty cushion or blanket, wave it around and take a picture with the flash turned on.

Dust, at night, the size of my head, in the open outside?

Yup, it was close to the camera lens, and the flash made bright light reflect off the dust particles very close to the lens, so they were captured as large white blobs.

Caused by Particles in the air. If you take a picture at beach using flash, you'd be amazed by those 'ghosts'.

It's not the size of your head. It's light reflecting off dust that's probably close to the lense. If you're moving around outside in an old, abandoned area, then yes, there will probably be dust.

Picture I just took after waving around a dusty rag

A picture taken by my friend a few years ago

Those aren't neither ghosts nor dust. Those are results of your self pleasure excercise.

As a photo lab technician, I can tell you that those are not ghosts. It's dust close to the lens, less than a few inches. The flash reflects off of the tiny piece of dust but creates a large reflection through the lens onto the film.
