And you never pushed it on the street, right? The only time you tried to see how fast it was was on a track right?

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

I'm not trying to say that the video is the best way to show off the true "performance".

99.999999999% of people who buy cars will NEVER take it to a track. EVER. But they do care how quick their cars are, and this video shows how quick the cars are relative to each other while relatively stock.

Next time I'll just host the vid of the 250whp turbocharged (by RRE) Ralliart, since you guys only care about extreme performance.

I never streetraced it and the nearest track here is like an hour and half away and always packed (pontiac). Now if you talk about powersliding in the snow, gravel, wet roads etc, that's a different story.

I definitely didn't make videos showing off my somewhat fast car either ;)

yeah, and I've never redllined my car on the street nor tried to beat someone off the line to cut in front of them.

You should, I'm sure that there's a lot of us that would enjoy seeing it and hearing it.

Yeah, I know. But you can't buy those cars anymore, and I wouldn't want to buy that car secondhand since I know that it's been abused.

Which is EXACTLY why it's relevant. Unlike you, most of us aren't pro drivers, so these vids are a good indication of what most of us would drive like.

And the fact that these cars are very ligthly modded means that their performance is very close to stock. They might have gained an additional 10-20hp from their mods tops.

It's not like the video of the Evo that's been stroked from 2.0L to 2.3L and has had insane work ($20k) worth done.

I like my car, if I can't get them in a straightaway, i can get em in a turn. Most people around here are too chicken to go fast in turns. Hell this morning it was pouring rain and I took a left turn that is rated at 10mph at 30mph when I entered and was at 35 when I exited. I take this turn the same way every single day. The only difference on this mornings run was the fact that I slid out of the line trying avoid on coming traffic. :)

Edit: I see no value in having videos taken of me driving. The videos I like to watch are the ones where you can learn how to drive better. Hell, I've seen a freakin power scooter beat a ws6! those kind of vids make me laugh, but don't tell me how to do it. So i find them point-less entertainment.

check www.dsmtuners.com ... my car was nothing outta the ordinary. There are scores of people with 12 sec dsms and better...

Plus making street racing videos is kinda pointless unless you have a beast of a car. Slow cars racing = boring. Either way they won't tell you whats better or what you should buy/look into. It tells you this guy in this particular car is faster than the other guy in his car. Hell I've seen a mustang beat an R1 and civic beat an M3 and it doesn't tell me that mustangs are better than R1s or the same for the honda/bmw.

Videos like that are for entertaining purposes only... so making one of slow cars defeats the purpose of 'em all together.

That is old, old school!

I wonder if it's anything like my old friend's '84 Prelude.

no, the prelude was hella heavier than the accord, and they got a peppier engine in 84

I live by RRE and go there pretty often. Your car would be one on the "weak" side. I've been in lots of stupid fast cars there.

You shouldn't really be ripping FWD compacts. Your car is based on one. Stock, the GSX does what, 6.7s in the 0-60mph? And the GST is slightly slower?

The slow ass Ralliart's been tested at 6.8s by Motor Trend.

I think the only the fwd talons and the awd talons have in common the body style. Those awd turbos are sweet cars. and I do mean all of the awd turbo cars

which is worse, the music, or sound of their exhausts?
Both are pretty bad. The music was so loud you can't even hear the cars. That's probably what they want though.

Yes, but they've all been so ridiculously modded that they're completely different cars, so they would serve no practical purpose.

I would love to see a vid of a stock GST/GSX vs a 3000GT (non-SLow), a stock 3000GT vs a stock Supra, etc.

I would learn a lot more about he cars that way.

the 3000gt wouldn't stand up against the supra, the vr4 might.

wrong, the engine is different. you can't just slap the turbo on the engine and be done with it. there is quite a few changes to that engine, although the size may stay the same, the compression ratio and pistons and a bunch of other things are changed. the suspension is modified so tht the car can take the extra power from the turbo and the brakes are changed to stop the car better

Do you realize what you just said? The 3000GT came in two flavors, the VR-4 and the SLow.
