There's so many, it isn't the easiest thing to name every PSU. It'd be easier to tell us what you're thinking of and we tell you. I'm sure that everyone on the forums will be happy to help you out. (Us geeks who have memorized which PSUs are 24 pin and which aren't)

I just checked Newegg, there isn't a search feature for ATX 2.0 specs or 24 pin.

Some PSUs will advertise that they follow the ATX 2.0 spec and some say that they have a 24 pin connector.

Unless I'm mistaken, just look to see if it has two 12V rails listed.

Anyway, you're best off sticking to a brand name PSU anyway. Like Kensai said, if you want some suggestions, give us a pricerange and system info and we'll give you some ones to look at.

Negative - not all dual-12v units are ATX2.0.

Example, the OCZ Modstream, all previous Enermax Noisetaker units, the Coolermaster Realpower, and the Vantec Ion II.

He asked for 24-pin... are those 20-pin?

Can you have dual 12V rails on a 20-pin psu?

Some are 20-pin, some are 24. Yes, you can have a 20-pin dual rail PSU. Almost the entire Enermax line of PSUs (up until now) were made this way.

Cool. I haven't looked at Enermax since my I got my 350watt about 4 years ago.

All dual rail psu's are ATX 12v 2.01 and all ATX 12v 2.01 compliant psu's have dual rails, as well as 24 pin, SATA and PCI-E connectors.

All dual rail psu's also fall under the ATX 2.0 spec too. Some of the psu's listed above are ATX 2.0, but not ATX 12v 2.01. Some such as the Modsteams are technically ATX 12V 1.3 psu's, but with 24 pin, SATA and PCI-E, connectors, but w/o dual 12V rails.

I'm confused now :p

I didn't keep up with anything powersupply related for a few years.

What does 1.3 get you?

You're confusing ATX 2.0 with the ATX 12V 2.x spec.

You just contradicted yourself.

Example of a non-ATX 2.0/non ATX 12v 2.0 unit with dual rails and a 20-pin connector..

No I didn't. That is an ATX 2.0 psu, it's just not an ATX 12V 2.01, but is instead an ATX 12V 1.3. There is a difference between ATX 2.0 and ATX 12V 2.01.

Yes you did, you said all dual-rail units are ATX 12v 2.0.1. Those are not, they are ATX 12v 1.3.

Why don't you tell us what that difference is. ;)

For the record, ATX 2.0 is a form-factor specification.

ATX12v 1.3 2.0 and 2.0.1 are power supply specifications.

Point is, the guy asked if you could just look for dual rails to find an ATX 12v 2.0 power supply, the answer is no. There are some ATX 12v 1.3 power supplies that employed dual rails before they were spec'd along with other things for ATX 12v 2.0 and 2.0.1.

I think that's more like a $100 psu (at least at newegg). I don't know if you're going to get a good SLI powersupply for much less than $100. Are you planning on overclocking that 3000+? Judging my the ram, it looks like you are. Overclocking adds extra stress to the PSU too as you increase voltages.
