Macguyver was over before I thought of getting into it. I'd like to rent the DVDs though. Nonetheless, Bauer all the way.

Well....so did MacGyver. There was an episode where he was on a boat with his dead parents and he had to escape the boat before it took him to the afterlife. He was basically dead while he was on the boat....his body was just kept alive in the hospital...

I can see that the votes that were cast for this Bower guy is because the kids here have never watched Macgyver & that the "24" show is new........... Plain and simple.

If I need someone to make a bomb defusal kit out of floss and a toothpick, MacGyvers my man.

If you are pinning Bauer vs MacGyver, Bauer will win. MacGyver has morals. Jack Bauer lives in the grey area. Bauer would have killed Chase last season if the gun had bullets, he cut off a pedophiles head, he has no problem with torture. Hell he has been torture. And lets be honest, if Bauer had to kill a baby to save the day, he is probably going to do it. You put up that against MacGyver, I'm afraid MacGyver is going to lose. MacGyver is just too nice.
 
Jack's the badder badass, but the question was "Who is the 1337 h4x0r?"

MacGyver would even make the A-Team look like a bunch of n00b script kiddies.

Macgyver does not die & will be in syndication long after "24" (age of its viewers most likely) dies a short lived tv life. How many years was MacGyver on anyway? I think it was 7 years. That's a long life for what he was having to do :thumbsup:

I don't doubt that what so evert. "24" isn't built for syndication. You cannot grab a random hour of 24 and expect to know whats going on. On the other hand you can grab probably any MacGyver episode and watch it without having to see the one before or want to see the one after.

I easily conceed that MacGyver is better in that aspect. But the question isn't that.
The way I look at it, if you were to put MacGyver up against Jack Bauer. IMHO Bauer wins, just because his character is more ruthless and will go to any length to get the job done.
