Rug too or just the curtains?

I think it will look funny if it they do not match.

What rug?

OK.... about 3/4s of the ATOTers just stopped to clean off their keyboards.

Notice the question mark after that statement. So unfortunately I highly doubt it's shaven down there.

As an asian male, i like to say all blonde looks way too slutty on an asian female. I love blonde white girls, but on an asian, it just looks so slutty... i guess if that's the attitude you want to portray, then that's fine (nothing wrong with that). Personally, i prefer red or blonde highlights.

The only blonde asian chicks I see are porn stars. Google Miko Lee if you're curious. When I see a blonde asian chick, I immediately think self hating white washed banana gweilo loving twinkie, dunno why.

why is that such a big deal for girls to be a bowling alley down there instead of a grassy knoll?! there are more of them than one might think?!

Because the only way most of the guys on here are going to see one either way is in a magazine or a porn flick.

I want to dye my hair too! I don't think I would go blonde, just because it wouldn't look natural on me... I'm thinking of like light/dark brown streaks....

i hope it's a good stylist, because i've seen so many girl's hair become brittle after bleaching it then going blond.

if you hate it, don't dye your hair black. it comes off looking too dark and unnatural. mine always recommended to dye it dark brown if i ever did anything that drastic. (but i only highlight my hair brown, so it doesn't really matter in this case i guess.)

He's good, I've seen samples of his work and I'm pretty impressed. Thanks for the tip about coloring it back if it goes to hell, dark brown would probably be less harsh. How much does it cost to get your hair highlighted brown? I'm getting this coloring for free b/c the stylist needs to update his portfolio with a "blonde Asian". Free haircut at Fred Segal tomorrow too! 😀

the person i went to back in san jose (i refuse to pay LA prices for their alleged highlights) would cut and highlight for 50 bucks.

my mom has a friend that's a hairstylist that i go to now, and she does it for 20, haircut for six. 😀

My GF (the blonde Asian above) gets $75 for a haircut in Minneapolis - she's doing extensions for someone next week for $1,800!

I prefer it that way, if its not clean then I almost find that odd now days.

If you want to look like the pics you posted, this is what will happen:

The stylist will pre lighten your hair, either with a high volumed developer and colour or bleach, depending on whether you have 'virgin' hair or coloured hair.

Then he will add foil highlights using bleach to achieve the really blond streaks.

He will most likely then have to tone the blond and overall colour. This means using a violet based colour to "cut" out the gold tones.

If after a couple of weeks of colouring, you use a purple based shampoo, that will help to keep the brassiness out of your hair.

Going back to a darker colour, does take a few steps, such as "filling" the light pieces first before putting the dark colour over them.

If you have a good stylist, then you should have no problems! You only live once, so go for it Ivy!

🙂

I hate the 'blonde' Asian look. It offends me from an artistic standpoint.

But it is your hair to do with as you please, and it is a free country 😀

Asian girls with natural, shiny, dark hair =

Asian girls with unnatural, stripped, blonde hair =

Don't do it! An Asian girl with a bleach job is like a painting a sports car brown. It just isn't right.

blonde asians= NOT good. a little highlighting at the most, IMO. seriously. bleached asians are just weird looking.

Straight up blonde is not a good look for asians in my opinion. Highlights look good and i think if you get that slight orange tint it looks fine, but really blond hair just looks way too fake and out of place.

Good hair coloring on asian

That's a major exception. Hyori Lee. I mean come on... HYORI!!!
