<< I've reached another milestone:

7028 3DMarks (2K1 default settings)

Keep in mind this under Win2K. The score 20 points ahead of me is from a Pentium 4 @ 2040MHz running Win98. Make of it what you will.

I'll also be trying at 160x9.5 (1520MHz) in the near future, when I get a power supply that can handle it without dropping the rails like fireflies :D

Great going Pabster!
Could you answer a couple of questions for me?
What PSU are you using now? and what one are you going to replace it with?
What Corsair RAM are you using?
Thanks for the input on the Palomino. Just wish it didn't turn into a shootin gallery.

Currently, a mere Enermax 365VP-E(FC). Obviously, the bare minimum for a configuration like this. I'll be replacing with an Enermax 651VP-E.

"What Corsair RAM are you using?"

I have 2 256MB Corsair PC2400 modules.

It always does, unfortunately. I suppose, in fairness, I should have expected it after posting a 3DMark score. This benchmark in particular seems to get people real ruffled up, and on hindsight, I shouldn't have done it. At any rate, at least some people are getting a glimpse of Palomino performance. :)

Nice 3dmark score, but since you seem to be in the mood for benching, how about some real benches? You know, Q3, UT, or other games you may have. Sisoft memory, fpu, integer,...etc(not as real as the others). :)

I wish my room stayed 22c year round. Upper 30c is not uncommon for my room in the summer and I live in Canada!

CPU: 4205/2005
MEM: 868/954

The numbers were much better at 160x9.5, but it isn't stable (yet). I was at about 930/1050 at that speed (RAM bench).

Sorry, I don't play Q3, and I don't have UT installed yet :D

22c is actually "warm". In the fall/winter months, it is not uncommon to be 17-19c. Right now, 21C.

you desperately need some PC 3200 memory to utilize that 1/6th multiplier!

btw, there doesn't happen to be an extra divider for the AGP port, is there? wouldn't that have to be something like 1/3?

<< Hey Texmaster, I have a few screenshots and that's about it for now at the site in my sig under benchmarks button, can't get it stable at 2210MHz enough to game or run a mark, about all I can do is capture some SiSoft marks, but I have not added them to my page yet since she's not stable..I think I'm going to try and add the voltage mod to my mobo here directly, and hopefully I can run there with a little more juice! >>

Great Shots! Thats the first water cooled peltier P4 I've seen around.

But I'm gonna stick with the extreme air cooling, its my trademark :D Might be able to hit your cpu speed with a 1.8.

Question for all, I'm maxed out at 220/500 on my asus geforce 3 in the tweak utility. Any way to push it furthur?
