Some person from the Mafia was probably in jail for long time and could not get out.

Maybe he was influential and had some contacts with the police and wanted to get some poon while in jail, so the officers caught some random girl and stuck her in there on some bogus charge. After he was done with her, she was probably left for the other guys in the jail.

This is my hypothetical version of what happened... only in Brazil...

This is exactly the same crap why last year 112 police officers in Brazil was gunned down by the most violent gang that's running Brazil, on a single weekend. I'm not condoning murders and lawlessness, just that they deserve each others.

Sorry to hear, either way, it's nice to have two extremes: In the U.S. you go to jail and get sent to jail for child molestation instead of being executed. In Brazil, you get sent to jail for stealing, and then get raped by child molesters.

Terrible either way. I'm sorry for the girl, it's hard to find the right words to say, but I don't think it's appropriate to say "shit happens" and be apathetic in that regard to this type of story.

I know ATOT loves to pile on the self righteousness, but "owned" was the first thing I thought of when I read the thread title. Before I read the actual news, I had no idea whether this was some girl in the middle of america talking about having to endure a couple nights with a bunch of horny and smelly guys who were mean to her, or if it was someone being brutally assaulted.

Either way, "owned" was a gut reaction sharpened by too much intarwebs, and whether it was someone I knew or didn't, getting into an accident or otherwise, "owned" would probably still be the same reaction. Whether I was happy or not about that particular ownage is a different story, but hey.. go ahead and be righteous =P.

I don't see the correlation. The police that were gunned down were raiding favelas which is the most hardcore "projects" (if you can even call them that) you can ever imagine. The favelas are controlled by drug gangs. Drug gangs were protecting there business. Not sure where this relates to the OP.
