I think custom avatars are good to an extent. I think that little programthat let you design avatar faces was good. If you let people upload all kinds of crap it looks wierd.
 
yes better then pics in sigs, i go to a board that uses FT that allows them and it looks fine, just limit the size to 60x60 and its all good

Definitely. 3D avatars as well. It's sickening that the icons on PDA's look better than the AT avatars! It's not 1997 any more...

No, but if we're going to be forced to put up with that, make them no bigger than the avatars we have now are. AND NO ANIMATIONS.

Just because I joined AT a while back and never used it till about 3 weeks ago when i went from 50 posts to what i have now, doesn't mean you have to get on your almighty high postcount soapbox and chastize me for not spending as much time here as you have.

Well if users can get banned pretty quickly for posting links to bad images, I don't see how this is any different.

Besides, I'm sure more than enough of you are more than happy to rat on eachother and PM the mods whenever something happens 😛
