I am finished playing with Einstein and it's 10x points advantage for now, due to daily limits being reached, lost productivity, unresponsive site at times, etc.

So I am (re)ramping up production on Folding. Sheesh, 25 Million behind already.....hmmmm. 😳

I have one WinTen machine that just will not run the latest F@H client, claims to be installed though. I'm going to try an older client, then I may do a WinTen reset. My Win7 machine finally ran F@H after replacing the AMD card with Nvidia.

Only 4 more Nvidia to find homes for. 😀 So, LINUX question...if replacing a 1080 with a pair of 1070's, is it highly likely the existing driver will work after a reboot or two? It has been 13 months since I've tinkered with Linux.......

You don't want to bring more PCs into the race, and deal with all those driver incompatibilities and Linux headaches. It will just cause frustration in your life. You deserve to relax and live a little. Have a cold lemonade, or take that trip you always wanted to. Those are all much better things to do besides extra Folding.

:tonguewink:

Sheesh, 25 Million behind
We really had to give them this little head start. Need to keep up the morale.

It should work. I once took 2 1080Ti out and put 1 1080 in for testing, then reversed that, all without any software or config changes.

12:00 UTC stats,
individuals and teams, current scores:

The difference of M&M - ATO has already shrunk from 25 M to 22 M.

Teams' daily production:

And a bonus: Individual daily production as colorful bar graphs!

Scale is million points. "Dec. 22" means production from Dec 21, 12:00UTC to Dec 22, 12:00UTC.

I've been fairly happy with my production this race, over 1Mil PPD. (Yeah, I know, a single 1080ti does better than that. 🙂 ) But my RX 570 collective keeps my apt warm. Actually, today, too warm, might have to open the windows up wide again.

Might keep going after the race a little bit, to hit 100Mil total points, then maybe switch off, do some mining, or maybe still do something to heat the apt.

Thanks Stefan! And congratulations on passing "theAnimal" and assuming the semi-permanent 3rd place on the TeAm! I hope to overtake "theAnimal" as well, and hold 4th for a while, until crashtech and/or biodoc come speeding by. 😉

Quite the movement for All the Others, I am glad we got to keep one of the Marks. 🙂

Nice! How well do those PSU's fold? 😛

*********************************

I finally have received all my new (used) goodies and have them all installed and running. Up from 2.5M ppd to 6.5M ppd.

The M&M's have little hope of victory now that the PG challenge is complete.

Previous config: 2x 1080 and one 1080Ti
New config: equivalent of 5 1080Ti and one 1080 (8x 1070 and one actual 1080Ti, plus one 1080 until it sells)

It's Midnight Madness in Virginia (almost).

I'll please ask the commish to add me to the 1st team that replies!

After that I'll be on the usual random funness as per custom.

An new task has just been started, grab me before the next stats update!!!

🙂🙂🙂

Looks like you are on "all the others" team, my good sir, as them thur admins are busy trying to find dials on there GPUs. 🙂

And your starting stats are:

4th place for now.jpg

I....I already brought it...?!?

Not until we see those new stats in a new update. Until then, it's all hype. And as Flavor Flav once stated, you "Don't believe the hype". Or was it "Fight The Power" or maybe "911 Is A Joke"? Well, it was one of those anyways. 😛

Sorry, you were talking to me, or yourself?

Unless you have a mouse in your pocket, I was. 😉

Don't make Markfw rent portable power generators to fire up the rest of his GPU fleet.

Well, I don't have more GPU's, but I have 400 threads that could generate a couple million ppd for CPU. Of course then we would loose all that power in WCG.....

Thumbnails save me from scrolling up and down, I like them!! 🙂

Ohhhhhh how the tides have turned M&M!! I think your dial is broken and ElFinex's PSU folding output is lacking wattage hehehe

I just noticed that my calculation of the "Average all days" line at the bottom of the day-by-day production table was off. Here is the correction:

production.png

With 26.4 M + 39.6 M = 66.0 M earned from Dec 22 12:00UTC to Dec 23 12:00UTC, this was merely the third day on which we were able to exceed the average production of the 2017 intra-team race, which was 27.0 M + 26.7 M = 53.7 M (link). We need to step on the pedal during the remaining 9 days, if M&M and ATO of 2018 want to catch up with The Cancer Terminators and The Cancer Eradicators of 2017!

Edit,
correction of the correction:
The actual averages of 2017 had been:
The Cancer Terminators ..... 757.1 M / 31 d = 24.4 M/d
The Cancer Eradicators ...... 746.9 M / 31 d = 24.1 M/d
combined ........................ 1,504.0 M / 31 d = 48.5 M/d
So, our current combined average of 45.3 M/d is not too far off. In order to replicate our combined 2017 result, we need to get (1,504.0 M - 996.9 M) / 9 d = 56.3 M/d done on average during the remaining 9 days.
