.jpgs can't do transparent backgrounds. Their "transparency" is always white. .gifs, .bmps, .pngs, and .psds sure can, though!

I'm not sure. But when I open up my image in photoshop the background is transparent, but when I open it up in paint it is white.

Um, put it over the image you want and then use the history brush to wipe away the white background.

Hm, same thing for me. I can open it up in photoshop and find see the transparency, but when I open it in MS paint, the background is black.
