This appears to be ongoing, although it commenced some hours ago. Hard to really tell if it's over or what's going on, but the governor said 12-13 people are dead, and there were or still are hostages involved.
 
Was at civic center doing testing for citizenship. The shooter was 42 years old from upstate NY. He blocked the exit in the back with his car then went to the front and started shooting.
 
Thank goodness his second amendment rights were preserved.
 
see, if those people inside had concealed carry permits, none of this would have happened, just like the students at Columbine - how silly that each and every student wasn't armed

another week - only 2 mass shootings in the US - down from the week prior, still the weekend left to catch up I guess

Fox news' current spin on the story is that this was a crime related hit job and the other people were collateral. At least that's what they've told Shepard Smith to say. The possibility of this being a hate crime isn't being entertained.

I assumed from the get-go it was a disgruntled immigrant. I assume that's the case and not an anti-immigration person.

Could be alright, could go either way though. Could also be a Layed off Worker who also worked there. Best to wait for details.

Well... i think republicans would be in conflict... on one hand, gun rights... on the other hand, they hate immigrants.

Wouldn't bother me. As long as they pass the same restrictions that I have to I'm fine with arming everyone who enters this country legally.
