I would go with the extreme 4 or the biostar xle; this is based on extensive reading and not personal ownership. I have the msi gd65 which has given me no issues but it has a few minor quarks. The asus boards seem to (currently) be the most finiky followed by the msi.
With regards to performance they are all about the same; the major decider shoudl be ports (sata, usb, ps/2 (a few have 2; most have 1)), slots, brand loyalty, price not nec in that order. The msi jfp2 blocks the second video card; it's not a deal breaker but you have to work around the issue (the other boards do not have this issue). Other minor issue can be after market heat sink blocking ram slot - this is an issue with most of the boards so do your research if it matters. To be honest msi customer support has been pretty decent; oh yea one other negative about the msi board is that the board it self has almost no self diagnosis if there is an issue (the biostar and asrock have an led that displays a number (error code)).

I want to emphasis that I've had 0 issues with my msi board and my complaint with jfp2 is more of distaste with the design than a critical issue; but if you use incompatible ram (for example) the board will enter a reboot loop. Hum; oh yea i'm only running my 2500k at 4ghz due to heat issue with the stock fan (if I run prime95 for an hour it will get up to low 70's C; games and most real usage it runs much cooler (upper 50's) as they do not stress all 4 cores at 100%
