Good idea. My Cherokee Sport is stock so I'd probably go with a 4" OME lift. What do you have on yours now?

Me too. I was very sad when I started my taxes last night. :(

I would go to Binnys Beverage Depot and buy some (a lot of) beer and some (a lot of) mead.

All other answers suck compared to mine.

Two thousand effin tacos.

Same here. I never compartmentalize money. I treat every dollar I get, no matter the source, the same. Finding $1000 on the street doesn't mean I need to go out and waste it.

Why are people :( when they complain about money own to the IRS. They should be happy since they didn't over paid their taxes. Beside, you got a good job to own that much in taxes. Count yourselves lucky and happily pay back that taxes. :p

Forgot to say that with an extra $1000, I would spend on HDTV LCD.

Hmm, I thought the rules were that you can't put the money in the bank or pay bills......

$1000.00 honestly won't buy much in 2007. Now if we up this to 10,000.00 (adjusting for 2007 prices) we might have an interesting topic!

With $10,000.00 I would build a new Intel Core Duo based computer and but 2 new (or cool used) guitars. Now that sounds like fun to me!

It would go either in my Mutual fund or high interest savings account to be put towards a down payment on a new car when I graduate in another year and a half.

Kitchen stuff. New dishes and silverware, food processor, blender, good pots and pans, that sort of thing. Either that or stuff for my greenhouse and garden (more greenhouse benches and storage, more raised beds in garden, greenhouse supplies, plants and trees, truckload of compost, new chain saw, new weed/brush trimmer, etc.) Decent furniture would be something I'd like to get too, but I'd probably get the kitchen or greenhouse/garden stuff first. I'd buy a few books too, along with whatever else I got.

That's assuming I had to spend it on stuff *I* want, not bills, investing, or stuff for my spouse & kids.
