You just hit 100 there? Here in the San Joaquin Valley in CA, we've had 100+ temps for about a week.

52 degrees here in Minneapolis. You can have your hot summer in exchange for the nice winter 🙂

And here I thought we were warm at 97. Still think I'll leave the A/C on.
I will say i rather it be a dry 97 then a humid 90. Now anything above 107ish...thats just way hot.

Where in the valley are you?
I used to live there. It's one of the reasons I moved to CO.

The worst is that not only is it going to be 104-107 outside today, tonight it won't get below 85 either, so you can't even open the windows to get some cool air in the house overnight. That and TEP's electricity prices are through the roof this year.
OP, I didn't know any fellow Tucsonans posted here. We should go grab a beer sometime.

I have experienced 100+ degrees a few of times in my life. I don't understand how ANYBODY can live anywhere where it hits 100+ on a semi-regular basis.
In Chicago, if we get 100 degrees for a few days (maybe once every 5-10 years), and on the news, it's all about people dying from heat stroke!
In the winter you can always bundle up, so the cold isn't bad (usually doesn't get much colder than 10-20 below 0 anyhow), but in the summer, if you gotta be outside, there is no defense from the death heat!
