10 and 15 for me. hit 69.6 miles this week, but I'm not about to go run another 0.4 miles! Great run, Mega! I didn't even do the 16 I had planned today because it was "so hot" (75-80). I can't imagine running down in Florida. That has to be horrible.

Nice mileage Scorch. You are the master, sir. The heat and humidity are pretty bad but I am adapting. I knew what I was getting into when I took the job down here, I'll make the best of it.

Guess what? I'll be scoring some Hoka One Ones on the cheap next week. A few runners in know IRL that used to suffer from various aches and pains that bother me from time to time are ranting and raving about Hokas and how they feel so much better now than they used to wearing whatever they used to run in. I'm starting off with the Mafates, if they work out for me I'll get some Stinson Bs for road running.

8 miles in a lightning storm tonight. I felt motivated to move quickly, to say the least.

I've only done this a couple of times before. It's very nerve wracking because I end up figuring out the distance to closest lighting strike, which is usually a lot less than I would like...

Another 10 today with my teammate Ryan. About 8 miles in, he started to push the pace a little bit, so then I responded with a surge of my own, and this kept going until with a half mile to go, we were both running 5:20 pace, then he dropped off and I continued to the next intersection. Needless to say, we both jogged the last half mile or so very easily! Did some strides and core work after too.
