2 today. :(

I managed 0.75 with the VFFs before I had to switch to runners. My calves were still sore but I managed to push out almost 2 more.

Finally finished in under 2 hours (1:54:51 to be exact). Still not blazing fast by any means, but have gradually improved upon my half times with each one.

 Congrats! That's a major barrier to break, and every PR is an accomplishment.

I'm coming down with a cold, no running today. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel better.

Same here. Hope you feel better.
Better a cold than the flu that's going around here. Hope you get to feeling well soon also.

lol. That reminded me of my 18 mile long run a few weeks ago. I had the major liquid sh!ts about mile 13. Every porta-potty or restroom I stopped in had no TP. It was impossible to run, so that was a very long, painful 5 mile walk back to the car. :(

Yikes. I hope that doesn't happen to me out on the country roads I run along...

Better than the in the city. Last summer, I had to go with about 2 miles left. I was looking in every alleyway to find a private place. Not sure how but I gutted it out and got home. Ran straight up the stairs to sit on the throne.

Yea, that's the worst. Thankfully I was at the end of a residential street near the highway and I found a well-concealed cluster of trees with plenty of broad leaves around.

I've only had to poop once while on a run, and the urge hit me right as I was finishing up a fartlek (how appropriate, right?) and I still had 3 miles to cooldown back to campus. Needless to say, there was no "cooling down." I think I ran those last 3 miles just as fast as I had being running the surges. I barely made it to the bathroom and had to execute "The Maneuver"; you know, where you somehow manage to simultaneously shut the stall door, turn around, pull down the shorts and plop yourself down on the seat all in one smooth movement. I have never known such relief in my life.

Anyway, I just did an easy 6 in the crazy wind. My fitness must be coming back because I've been doing all of my "easy" runs at a pretty good clip lately. Nice!

I did a little over 7 today with hills. I hate running late at night (it's scary near campus!).

Ouch. A few years ago I used to get those EVERY time I ran. Guaranteed. It didn't even matter if I sat on the john and went just before my run, after 2 miles I'd have to go bad. Of course it'd be when I was 2 miles from home and had to pinch my way home.
