Thanks guys.

I did an 11 miler on trails this morning. Saw the coolest thing: fresh bear prints!! Hopefully I get to see them in the flesh (from a safe distance) soon. Lots of fair weather trail users out today? I wonder where they are all at on hot/rainy/freezing/snowy days?

Atta boy, Mega, and good to hear from you again, IB! Enjoy the southern hemisphere and be careful getting back into running!

I did 11 miles, 12 miles and 10 miles in the past 3 days. Today was a 6-mile tempo run where I averaged around 5:55s. That's a bit slow for me but I blame the bottle of wine that my wife and I drank last night, the fact that I was dehydrated on top of that, and the fact that I am the exact opposite of a morning person. Still a good workout but I need to focus on my tempo runs more from now on. Might do a short shakeout run tonight and have 22 on tap for tomorrow! Next weekend I race a hilly half marathon!

I woke up at 6 am and the rain was coming down hard enough to make me go back to bed. Hopefully it all subsides early enough to get a run in later today.

Only 8 miles this week. Got a bad cold. Also, 5K race cancelled yesterday due to Irene.

22 miles today. Other than being a bit windy, no sign of any Irene-related weather. Nice and cool though - in the 60s! Threw down the last 3 miles in 6:39, 6:35 and 6:16. Whoo! 101 miles for the week baby!

4.5 tonight, pretty quick run which was not my initial goal. Anyways, I'll round up using the .5 I dropped earlier this week.
